  1. I am not a big fan of a an itinerary. The principal I work off is "lets head in this general direction and see what happen". I get the feeling your of the same cloth. Have a great ride!!

  2. Don't see an A. Where are you actually starting? Sure do envy your riding area. I used to live in Chattanooga and there is such great riding in the TN/VA/NC/SC/GA region. I plan rides a lot like you – begin with a map – start out according to plan (unless it's hailing) – and then see where the ride takes me. It may end up vastly different from the original map. But who cares? I'm out riding :)Want to see pictures when you return. Safe travels.

  3. excellent. i am similar, i consider general direction and a map helps. but once the wheel is pointed one never knows where i will really end up. that is the joy of our lifestyle, it is the passion and calling of the open road. make each and every ride what you want it to be. have a great ride!! ..i cant wait to see.. 🙂

  4. Maybe if I plan rides like you do, starting with a map, I'd be able to get out and see more. I've always been leary of going by myself because I don't know where a good route would be. I need to take more of an initiative and maybe I'll find some really cool places like you 🙂

  5. If ANYONE PLACES ANOTHER UNAUTHERIZED AD HERE, THEY WILL BE BANNED. I do not go to your websites and try to sell products…don't even think about doing it here.
