Hi everyone,
What a year it was!  Yes, I started this blog on Jan 10, 2009.  No followers…but loads of thoughts, ideas, and my camera.

You all know I love motorcycles, writing, and riding.  Now it’s photography that is catching my attention.

It was recently brought to my attention the new decade won’t start till next year… so I guess my actions in 2010 will be practice for the new decade….

So here it is folks, for you,
I wish for you health better than last year, wealth enough to keep your smile on and the wolves away, but most of all, I wish all of you know and have the best of any love out there….

  1. Chessie, I saw that comment on FB that the new decade doesn't start until next year, but technically it is wrong. The same argument occurred at Y2K. The decade begins on day 1 of the year ending in zero. Days accumulate to complete the year.BTW, I know of two photo projects being blogged. Were you going to join us?B.

  2. Looking forward to seeing more pics made with that new camera of yours. Happy New Year, and ride safely! Cheers from Calgary, Alberta

  3. I did not realize that your blog has become very successful in a very short time but I understand why and I enjoy it a lot. I wish you the best for the new year, plan to follow your photographic adventures.

  4. I hope 2010 is good to all of us. I'm looking forward to your rides and reflections, as they are always enlightening. Your photos are amazing and I thank you for bringing us right there with you. Here's to a prosperous New Year!

  5. As for when the new decade starts, I don't know. After Brent's assertion that my statement in a previous post was correct (2010 start of a new decade) I have been doing a bit of research here on the "net". WELL I'm here to tell you, there are one hell of a lot of people out there giving their opinions about the subject…but I haven't found a website yet that quotes a source I can readily believe in.I do believe in Brent. So I'm hanging my hat with Brent until/unless a dependable/authoritative source can be quoted to sway my thoughts.

  6. Chessie, I wish all the same for you my dear friend! 🙂 Can't wait to see what photographs you have in store for us in 2010!!I had no idea your blog is less than a year old…what success!

  7. Chessie,I am thankful that I had the opportunity to run into your blog. One of these days I am going to run into ya on the Open Road. Keep up the good stuff. See Ya!

  8. And a Happy New Year to you, too. Looking forward to visiting in your second year!

  9. Happy New to you! As you know, I enjoy your blog very much. I too was surprised to find out your blog is so new. You have done very well. It was a great pleasure for Lee & me to meet and spend time with you this past summer. We both hope to do more of that as we move forward into the new decade (whenever it starts). Truly all the best to you.
