Exploring the Negitive
Yesterday, I took my dog to a walking trail we have never been on before. I was expecting great things. That was a pipe dream, thought up by a silly woman who only wanted to have a nice doggie who never acts like a puppy. The walk was a nightmare. Shrek discovered how to slip his collar. He ran down to the swollen banks and the fast-moving waters of the Doe River. It roiled right next to the path, he loves water, and if something like a plastic bag floated down the river in front of him…I was so scared for him. As it was, he romped through deep puddles of water on the banks, got all muddy and wouldn’t return to me for over ten minutes. Stupid puppy ruined the day for me. My heart still races over the event.
Coming out from the linear walking trail, back to the truck I borrowed from my brother for this event…I see this play set and think how desolate it appears. Little did I realize, it would later come to the negative and represent my experience, memories and feelings about this particular walking trail.
