This is a yard of chrome bumpers. They wink and blink in the sun, blinding for an instant, waking up the passer-by. They are from an era past. When was the last chrome bumper used? On what model, whose company was the last to leave the chrome metal bumper behind? GMC, FORD, CHRYSLER…Who? Smiles frozen in place…waiting…for you to claim one…give it life once again.
