Rebeka at the Well

This statuette was my great-grandmothers. My Grandfather gave it to her when he was 19 years old. I think that was about 1900. I’ve added the crane to stand beside Rebeka…I think it lends some depth and interest to the photo.

It’s a rainy day today. Miserable… I just wasn’t going outside for anybody…or anything today. So there we have it…my prized statue of my great-grandmother is my submission for today’s shot.

  1. Is the sculpture of your Great-Grandmother or did it just belong to her?
    Either way it’s beautiful!!

  2. The statue is so pretty and the crane looks like it belongs to the status. Lovely.
